  • A painted image by LivInSeas of a school of sardines. The background is a blue-teal gradient, featuring blue squiggles, large white spots, and smaller, colored dots. The sardines have brown fins and greyish bodies. The tops of their bodies are blue, with white dots forming a shine effect. The mid-body is pink, which transitions to a grey belly. The sardines have black dots running down their body above the pink. The bottom of the fish have slightly darker stripes and dots, which resemble scales. The sardines have dark, shiny eyes.
  • A painting of a smalleye Pacific Opah. It's a blueish fish with a spherical body from a side view, with bright red fins. The mouth is almost beak-like, and a large eye looks at the viewer.
  • A watercolor painting done by LivInSeas featuring a hummingbird bobtail squid. The squids body is a faint, dusky purple color, and its covered with large patches of whitish or fluorescent blue/green color. The eyes are horizontal slit shapes. Five tentacles are visible, each having a line of fluorescence running down the center of each arm. The squid is covered in black spots across the entire body. The black spots are larger on the arms and lower body of the squid, and much smaller on the upper body.
  • A watercolor painting of a spotted ratfish. The ratfish's body is a brownish color, with white spots covering the body. It has a gold-brown line (lateral line) running down the side of its body, and several lines crisscrossing the face. The nose is sloped, almost like a ski jump shape. Its fins are a blueish grey in color, the pectoral (where an arm would be) fin noticeably large, with little gold reflective lines running down the fin. The fish's eye is brown, with orange and blue.
  • This image was captured on a boat at sunset. The ocean is a dark blue, with a swath of reflected, orange light from the sun. On the horizon is a large mountain, rising from the water in the middle-left of the frame and running off to the right of the screen. The sun is close to skimming the mountains on the left side of the frame, turning the lower part of the sky orange. The upper portion of the sky is a soft, grey color. There is a lens flare in front of the mountain on the right side of the screen.
  • An image captured of mountains rising from the sea in Glacier Bay, Alaska. The sea in the foreground is a soft blue color. The mountains appear to be reflecting the sunset, with a faint pinkish tone. A wall of steep rock rises from the sea on the right side of the screen, covered in green trees on the top. Another mountain rises at a similar angle behind it, with patches of snow at the very top. The bottom is covered in trees, which fade with increased elevation. Behind these two mountains in the distance is a third mountain, broader and with larger patches of snow at the very top. The sky is clear, but is a soft blue/yellow color.

One large rock pillar looms next to the cliffs, reaching a similar height. The sky is clear and blue, with clouds on the horizon, and the sea behind is greyish blue.
  • Phytoplankton imaged under a microscope. The background is a deep, rich blue color. The phytoplankton are somewhat of an elongated oval in shape, with a bright, fluorescing sphere in the center. The phytoplankton seem to be see-through, their shape made visible by a faint outline around the edges. Surrounding the phytoplankton are a bunch of small, fluorescent rod-shaped bacteria. They look like sprinkles. A few are clinging to the edges of the phytoplankton cells.
  • This image features a medium-sized lake. The suface is almost completely covered with large, felled logs. Two men are balancing on the floating logs in the front right of the frame, showing the massive scale of the logs. Behind the lake is a thick forest, covered in fog with a hill rising dramatically through the foggy clouds in the distance. The sky is dark and overcast.
  • This image was taken near where a lake flows into a river. It was captured on Sitka Island, Alaska, and the lake is surrounded by bright green, evergreen trees representative of the boreal forest in the region. The water is dark blue-green, reflecting the nearby trees. The sky is very overcast. In the foreground of the photo is a bright green tree, and trees of a similar color line the other bank of the river.

The trees on shore are dense, green firs, characteristic of coastal British Columbia, Canada.

  • This image is a landscape photo of the seaside. The shoreline is very rocky, zigzagging in and out of frame and cradling the teal ocean, which extends out to the left of the frame. The rocks are a brownish color. It's a sunny day, and the sky is blue with some noticeable fluffy clouds. This image was taken in Brittany, France, on the Atlantic coast.
  • This image was captured from a pier (not visible in the shot) looking down on the ocean. The water is teal and milky, the visibility would be low for a scuba diver in those conditions. At the surface float big patches of giant kelp, swirling up and towards the top right of the frame, indicating a current. This image was captured in Avila Beach, California, which is along the central coast, an area famous for kelp forests.
  • The image shows a few seals laying on a haul out dock which borders a small harbor. The seal in the middle of the frame, the focus of the shot, stares off into the middle distance in a pondersome fashion. The seals behind it look relaxed, one with its head down and one with its head up, also staring off into space.
